Land unit conversions
The land unit converter uses West Bengal’s commonly published conversion standard (1 Bigha = 20 Katha = 33 Decimal = 14,400 sq ft). Historically, the exact size of a Bigha has varied by district and by pre-independence zamindari estate. For registration, mutation, or any legally binding purpose, the area recorded in your BLRO land record (Khatian/Plot) governs — not this tool.
